I Am Back!

Seriously, I have already forgotten about this blog page. I remember I deleted some of my blogs and thought I have completely covered my tracks. Just as I am about to create a new one, I found this!

Because I love watching movies, this blog is originally intended for movie reviews but I thought I could just turn this into an online journal. So far, though, I have nothing much to write about. At least I haven't thought of anything yet but I promise I will be updating this more often. I want to share to you my journey towards healing.

I'm kidding.

Before you think that this is another Tiny Buddha or tantric healing site, let me tell you that it won't be. At least not completely. Being the 10% freak that I am, you might read some meditation stuff once in a while. But, I am just as dubious as you are (in case you really are).

Perhaps I could just write about Christmas Day. It was a fine day on my end. Lots of kids collecting their yearly dues of course. My niece and nephews included among 20 other goddaughters. I am just thankful the others have grown up and grown shy of asking. I think my list was reduced from 20 to about 10. I assume because I have given away all my Php 1000.00 budget. Yup, Php 100.00 each. I am that stingy.

For me though, it's enough. Maybe even more. I won't tolerate these kids in turning Christmas Day into some kind of business. Some unmindful parents dispatch their offspring to collect on purpose. Others, who still value the Christmas spirit, just send them to godparents to pay their respects.

I have nothing against it, really. We always prepare for this time of the year. I did want to give but it sucks that I am broke. Perfect timing!

We did flee, however, early in the morning, before we get swarmed by our clueless visitors. The intention was to spend the day with our aunt, my mom's sister in Malolos, Bulacan. She is currently living with her husband. Their children, our cousins, are both living in Ireland already so they got no family to enjoy the Holidays with.

After a few hours in Malolos, we headed back to Valenzuela and visited another aunt (again, mom's sister). We found the whole family just trying to sleep it through. We rocked their quiet world and brought them the party.

It had been a fun gathering. The kids and other cousins came by when they heard we were there so there was definitely a riot. Although I am broke, I had fun. I have always thought that money CAN buy happiness but moments like that is just priceless.

Belated Merry Christmas everyone!!!
